Gosho Park Game Capture - September 2018

We recently had a successful game capture in the park and were able to sell 33 impala to other small game parks for restocking.

The Learner Guide pupils helped with the capture which was a good experience for them. A young male eland was also captured and moved across to Calderwood Park – from dart to release this operation only took 35 minutes – very efficient!

We already have some female eland in Calderwood Park so should have the start of a good breeding herd. If anyone knows where there are female waterbuck for sale, please contact us as we need some in Gosho Park.
