Peterhouse Wins International Schools Debate

The International Debate Contest Organised by the Fair Justice System for Scotland (FJSS), based in West Calder, Scotland.

Motion: This House believes that Covid vaccinations should be fairly distributed throughout the world. Peterhouse Boys were against the motion.

Peterhouse Boys School won the International Schools Debate organised by the FJSS. The International Debate Trophy will be coming to Zimbabwe and Africa for the first time, with the name of Peterhouse Boys engraved on it.

The Peterhouse Boys team (of D and C Block boys) was the youngest in the final contest on Thursday 25th November 2021. The team contested in the final against Etonbury Academy, Samuel Whitbread Academy of England and Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools of Scotland. The preliminary round also had Robert Bloomfield Academy of England, Mandate Academy of Nigeria and Royal High School of Edinburgh, Scotland. The debates were held on Zoom and Google Classroom.
